11th September, Somewhere between London and Brussels
My Dearest Elizabeth,
I write to you as the airship slips from it's moorings and I commence my journey exchanging the smoke of London for the smog of Brussels. Would it be that i could stay with you, but circumstances being what they are my hand is forced and for better or worse, I am committed to this course.
I have obtained, through various means, the contacts of some gentlemen who may be able to help me with my endeavours. Once I arrive I shall begin to enquire as to their whereabouts with the hope that they can provide some assistance.
For now I shall say nothing further save that you are on my mind and that i long to return to you soon.
Forever yours,
x
